Wheels in motion to take Evans to victory in France

If George Hincapie can be to Cadel Evans what he was to Lance Armstrong, Australia will soon have its first Tour de France champion.
A bond both the Australian and American champions hope will deliver success - in the form of a yellow jersey - is forming in Adelaide at the Tour Down Under this week.
Not just with every kilometre Evans and Hincapie ride alongside each other, but with every waking minute they spend in each others company.
For Evans, a 32-year-old world champion yet to achieve his ultimate sporting aim, Hincapie, the universally revered 36-year-old still hungry for more success, and the Swiss BMC Racing team that has brought the pair together these are highly formative times.
''It's like making a good cocktail,'' BMC's sports director, John Lelangue, said as he watched from the team van as his riders completed their final preparations ahead of yesterday's stage three.
''If we find a good recipe for a cocktail then we'll have a really good one for May and July.'' MORE
