Bradley Wiggins delays his Team Sky debut

Bradley Wiggins has delayed his Team Sky debut by four days, so he will now line up for the first time for Dave Brailsford’s new ProTour team at the Tour of Qatar which starts on Feb 7.
Wiggins,fourth in last year’s Tour de France, was scheduled to make his debut at Etoile de Bessèges, a low-key four-day stage race, next Wednesday, but his place in France will be taken by Italian Davide Viganò and Wiggins will instead head for the Middle East, where sprinters usually dominate.
The three-times Olympic gold medallist used the Tour of Qatar to kick-start a successful 2009 by claiming the leader’s jersey after the 6-kilometre team time-trial first stage. MORE
